The Associated Press reports that Tiger Woods’ caddie, Steve Williams believes that his job is still safe.

Williams has caddied for the world’s No. 1 for 11 years and despite all of the media hype over Woods’ struggling game, Williams reportedly told New Zealand radio Wednesday that he and Woods remain close friends and there is no possibility their working relationship is about to end.

Woods finished 28th at the PGA Championship last week, and was 18-over par at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational; the worst 72-hole total of his career.

The AP story said Williams also expressed confidence in the ability of Woods’ possible new swing coach Sean Foley to revive his game.
