Nine might be the lucky number for Phil Mickelson this week as it will be his ninth attempt at taking over the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking from Tiger Woods.
Pgatour.com has compiled a top 10 must-do mathematical scenario list for Phil Mickelson to accomplish. The list excludes the two most obvious scenarios — Lefty winning The Barclays or Lefty coming in second to any player but Woods.
The reigning Masters champion revealed earlier this season that he has been suffering from psoriatic arthritis and has been taking medication to control it. He also said he has switched to a vegetarian diet.
